About Scorpius Pacific LLC
Scorpius Pacific LLC was founded by Thomas Raffipiy who has extensive leadership experience through his 20 years in the US military, his entrepreneurial experience in as General Manager of TNT Electric on Hawaii, and other philanthropic and civic engagement both in the State of Hawaii and throughout the Pacific.
We value the bridging of the indigenous knowledge of our ancestors with the modern technological advancement today. Inspired by our Uncle Mau Piailug who helped relaunch the Hawaiian rennaissance in traditional wayfinding, our company uses the scorpius (tumur) the wayfinding star from which Papa Mau launched the Hokulea in the maiden voyage to Tahiti.
